I think Patrick is better off when he can just concentrate on one guy. He did a very good job chasing McDonald around those screens. He seems to be better when he's doing that than if he's in a position of helping. He made McDonald take some tough shots, and I thought he rushed some shots.

We haven't played in all these years, but this is something we are looking forward to very much. We like to match wits against the best there is, not just the coach but the program. Of course, this is meaningful anyway ... there is a lot riding on this game.

There are so many weapons on their team. It will take an extraordinary effort on our part to compete.

He had his legs and he had his quickness. If he didn't do what he did, we would not have won the game. He stepped up big for us because everyone else struggled for us all the way around.

We made some runs at them and had an opportunity. It was a great effort on our part. I'm really proud of our players.

Patrick, when he gets hot, you can see the team spirit lift because he can get things going. We place a lot of faith in him.

We're not going to go through another season like this.

Changes will be made. The players have to understand that there is a standard set here and there won't be any bending.

We had an opportunity there, but we just couldn't retrieve the ball.

This is where we are now with parity and programs like Albany, George Mason, the Missouri Valley Conference, going right down the line. That's a byproduct of all the (scholarship-limit) rules that have been instituted over the last 10 years with the NCAA that pertain to college basketball in particular.

We didn't finish the job. But a lot of it has to do with LSU. They're very athletic, very excellent shot blockers. In the end they did what they had to do to win the game.

To go on the road and get a win against the Eastern Division champs, that's a big feather in our hat. And from a mental state, this is one that the guys are really excited about.

We're playing with a little more cohesiveness, a little more togetherness. We're playing defensively, and we're rebounding the ball better. Those are the areas that we struggled with all year long. The things we've done well over the years, we had to get back to those basics.

Every time you get ready for Senior Day, there is always a big buildup. This is a special time for these young men, and we try to make it special for them because they have been a big part of our program.
