We went ahead by two at halftime and then played the best half of basketball than we have all year long. We've been executing much better today and that's been encouraging.

The kids just flat played. The execution was great. It seems like we're starting to get our legs under us.

The game was close throughout, closer than the final score shows.

If there is anyone that deserves a good season, it's Meredith. She has spent countless mornings no one knows about, working hard and trying to stay fit. She has put in a lot of hard work and now she's playing strong and playing well.

Both of them have played well this year, and they're both real hungry. They give us more size than we had last year and allow us to go big or small. That's a luxury we haven't had the past few seasons.

They're a talented group of kids that we've seen for a long time. There is no doubt about how good they are and how talented they are.

At times [at Duncanville] we played about as good as we have all season. There were some real bright spots. Hopefully, the illness has run its course through the team.

It's nice to finally get to play the same night and place as the boys. And we're starting off with a tough one. I know [TSST] will be athletic and usually Tulsa teams are pretty strong.

It wasn't as bad as it looked. We executed well. It was just one of those weird nights. I've got confidence in those same kids that missed those shots to step up and make them late in games, because they've been doing it all year.

Everything can change with a mistake [tonight]. We need some separation, so every game left on the schedule is important.

It was a big game, and there were probably some nerves. Neither team was explosive scoring the ball early, but Rogers knocked the lid off the basket earlier than we did.

Rogers played very well. The game was such a battle. Both teams are going to be sky-high for this one. If you need a pep rally to get up for this game, something is wrong with your team. You're not going to have to have a carnival or parade.

I thought Hailey really sparked us. Some of the kids that we traditionally have score were not having their best game and she -- along with some other of our kids -- certainly hit a couple of big shots.

They're a talented team which is kind of on a roll right now. Their only problem is youth. On any given night they can beat anybody.

We got some good shots, and Dani got us going early. Dani does what her team needs her to do most. She scored early when they were helping off of the guards, and in the second half, she ran the team and executed our offense.
