This year, it (the goal) is really to get back and really zero in on some teams in the conference. We have a real core of sophomores and juniors right now. Last year was a rebuilding year. This year, we'll sneak up on some people.

He's a pretty solid athlete. He definitely leads, because he's that good. He does do a lot of things for us. The biggest thing he does is he does run very well.

At a meet, if you need him in a particular event, he's there to step up and get points for you when you need them.

He's just an all-around athlete that we use for jumps and hurdles. He's a tall, rangy athlete, and he's got some abilities. We're looking for some big stuff. He's definitely one of our key guys for dual meets.

He'll be a vital athlete for us during the season.

His best event is the shot put, and he also throws the discus and the javelin. He's definitely going to be a vital part to our throws success. He's a very explosive athlete.

He's a talented athlete. This is his first year out for track. He's already shown some signs of being a key guy for us.

I don't know if we'll be a contender right away. But we'll be one of the three or four best teams.

He had a hard time around the beginning of the year getting arrested and getting kicked out of the Senior Bow. He has worked out hard and prepared to play. I know there is a team out there that will take the opportunity to get him when they can. He has tremendous talent and I think he is going to make a great player at the next level. I wish him the best of luck.

It's actually rare for us to be preparing for a game at all. It's definitely a plus to be preparing for a home game.

It means a lot. You normally open up every season with a home opener, but we didn't get that due to other circumstances.

If you can take the run game away from, you get them to where you make them do things that they don't want to do. Thy definitely want to run the ball first to set up the pass.

We need something normal. Helicopters flying over the stadium is not normal.

I don't know what happened out there. We played like a joke out there in the second half. It was nothing they did, it was everything we did. It was just an absolute joke in the second half. It was a complete and total breakdown.
