I heard 'local bands,' and I love underground stuff, unknown bands. I like to hear new music, so that's why I came. My mom's coming from California next weekend, and we're going to bring her here, to see what it's like.

Mentally, I told myself all along I'd be back for the first game, but you never know how it's going to go. You can't really control how fast it heals. It had to get better and rest was the only thing that helped. But it feels real good now. I probably got back faster than expected.

My timing and strength is just going to keep getting better. It's early, ... You lose that timing with the ball dropping and your leg coming up. Everything meeting together at that one split second. You probably lose a little bit of distance and hang time if you are not 100%.

It's just painful, ... I could run on a treadmill forever, but anything side to side was very painful. Rolling out of bed. Getting out of a car. The problem is when you have to open your hips. Which he does every time he drops back.

You always worry about something like that. You have to feel fortunate everyday that you can walk into a locker room and be a part of a good organization. I'm not saying it's keeping me up at night but it's always in the back of your head.

You always worry about (the future) because there is no security in this business. I'm not saying it keeps me up at night or anything, but you do worry. But at the same time, I have confidence in what I do.

It was cool. I saw a lot of people from Montrose, and it was a lot of fun playing in front of them.
