Each case is a different story,

The earnings picture is really good now, but, you know, enjoy it while it lasts. Third and fourth quarters of this year are going to be much, much tougher earnings seasons, primarily because analysts are not reducing those estimates and the comparisons are going to be very, very tough,

If you separate out all the sectors of the market, it's no longer the case that technology is the most overvalued sector of the market, health care and energy actually carry higher valuations than technology now. So we are starting to get the levels overall in technology that really make some sense. And interestingly enough, if you take it even further, if you go to the individual stocks, stocks like Sun, Cisco, Texas Instruments, Oracle -- great names, they're starting to get to levels which, again, don't call them cheap, but call them cheaper and interesting,

You had a pretty good move in biotech this year, and biotech really has quite frankly lifted the health care and the drug stocks recently because investors have become somewhat defensive -- say in the last month or so -- and have also, on a relative basis, performed fairly well.

Large is the place to be. The market has been rewarding investors in large cap, and rewarding investors on a relative basis in mid cap, but quite frankly, it is an on-again/off-again type of thing with the small cap, and the small cap is not a place to go. The market is not signaling to me that you should play it on the small cap side, mid cap is fine, large cap is definitely the place to be.

It's a migration toward value as a reflection that investors believe the growth rates of earnings are slowing. It will continue until investors are convinced that the Fed will take its foot off the break, or reduce interest rates.

This is a good time [for review].

Even though it's a bad time, it's a good time - if you have a taxable account, you clearly want to harvest some of the gains, and offset it with some sales of losses,

It's almost as though we're getting a crash, and it's coming at us one stock at a time,

There have been a lot of high-profile companies taking a lot of extraordinary drops. When things go south for a company, they really go south.

They tend to be like sheep. They are followers. It's called piling on in football, and I think it's the equivalent. It's unprecedented.

It's not good news, ... Even though the focus is on the Middle East and oil prices, these numbers clearly are not going to stabilize the markets.

Clearly the Federal Reserve is getting what it wanted with six interest rate increases.

The problem is there are exceptions. You're still left with the question: Is this the time when it won't work?
