That hurt. Being down two possessions with less than four minutes changes things a little bit. It made it a whole lot tougher on us.

The phones have been ringing off the hook since 6 a.m..

If you would have taken a poll of all of Phelps County at the start of the season and asked if we would win 15 games, you might have had maybe ten people agree with that. I think these kids really defied the odds and put together a nice season. We won 15 games, and that's something these kids can hang their hat on. It's something that no one can take away from them. I'm very proud of them.

Coach Bedford really would have been proud of what we've accomplished this season. He was the one that build this program.

Of course we wanted to win the state title, but finishing third out isn't all that bad. When you consider how many teams started out in the state tournament, third place is quite an accomplishment.

What can you say, it was another great game from Beverley.

We looking forward to being back year next season.
