It's the most electrifying thing in the world. Anyone who plays the game of basketball as a kid growing up, you always do the countdown in the playground - five, four - and try to make a miraculous shot. I think tonight it was one of those days in the park, counting down and throwing up a wild shot and it's going in.

He's capable of making some amazing plays. He's capable of making amazing passes or an amazing shot. When you go against him, you just hope he doesn't do some of the things he's capable of.

He won't be there physically to share it with me, but I know he'll be looking down on me. I'm just thankful and blessed that I had George in my life. We started out as friends, then grew to be best friends and then we started doing everything together, workouts, going to the movies, going to parties. We did everything two brothers would do.

When I think about it, it's just a great joy and a blessing and an honor to be in the company of those guys.

When I got here I was a lot hungrier than the guys that were here. They were coming off two really bad seasons, and they were complacent. I had come from a winning program and brought a winning attitude. It was tough at first. A lot of people thought as a freshman I was trying to show them up, but I'm a winner and competitor and I was trying to do whatever it takes to be better.

That's probably one of the biggest plays of my career.

As soon as the horn sounded, I thought about George. This was something George wanted to do. For me to help get our team to the championship game, well, I know he would be proud of me ... he is proud of me. I know he is happy for me right now.

I've always wanted to be on the court with the best players in the country. I feel that Portsmouth has some of the best, and I showed I could hold my own against them.
