We had the guts to invite someone like this and put on a show. And to do it, it takes the whole town.

We're kind of shooting to have the marquee lit the first week of December. They (Sherwood Co.) will replace the neon, repaint the marquee ... and we'll also have the front of the building lit up.

We've been raising money to pay off the marquee and we've been raising money to pay off the buildings. Right now, we've sent letters out to people asking for $1,000 donations to pay off the buildings. While trying to pay off the building, we've also been raising money to renovate the marquee. ... I'm hoping people will respond to the letters that we sent and at least send some money.

The problem with the Capitol Theater is it was built for movies, there's no backstage area. Now, all of our backstage, all of our dressing rooms, everything like that will be in the other building. The restrooms will be in the other building, plus the concessions will be there.

If we end up doing some kind of financing, we will probably finance both buildings together.

The city is growing in leaps and bounds and we feel good about that. We want to expand on that and help the city keep growing in a positive way.
