en It's always easier to play with a two goal leader. That was especially true tonight because right before we scored, we were fighting the puck. The goal gave us more confidence and relaxed us.

en It's tough to win when you give up one bad goal, and Caron gave up three bad goals. You can't expect to win any hockey games like this. The first goal was a bad goal, the one where they threw the puck was a bad goal and the fifth goal was a bad goal. A solid goalie has got to stop those pucks.

en This year, more than ever, he was able to draw defenders to him, and set up others. He gained confidence in his teammates and his own ability ? he could put the puck on player's sticks, and set them up.

I look for that, you seem to get a little more space when Maxim has the puck, so it's my job to get to an open spot, because he usually finds a way to get the puck to you. He made a great pass and all I had to do was hit the net.

en He's been playing so well for us, with all the tough breaks, if he can get some wins, everybody gains confidence. He was tremendous for us tonight.

en They played a terrific first period. I thought they stretched us really well and moved the puck and looked very creative, but you don't lose by one goal against in this building. We've got the ability to score some goals.

en As a goalie your main job is to stop the puck. I view it as an exciting challenge every game and I try to do my part to help my team win games. I have a lot of confidence in everybody's ability in front of me, so it makes my job a lot easier.

en I think it's an advantage for us to have to play a Monday night game, because it gives us two wins in a row, big wins, that really have everyone in that locker room feeling pretty confident about their ability to shoot the basketball and our ability to play at a high level.
