Det är en instinkt, ibland händer det som spelare att när man leder med några mål kan man bli lite för kreativa och avvika från matchplanen, men för det mesta var det väldigt kortvarigt ikväll. Vi fortsatte att föra pucken framåt ikväll. Vi gjorde det vi behövde göra i hörnen, vi fick pucken mot mål och det mest imponerande var att vi bara släppte till 17 skott ikväll, och det var mot ett väldigt bra lag.

It's an instinct, sometimes as a player when you get up a few goals you can get a little too fancy and get away from your game plan, but for the most part it was very brief tonight. We kept the puck going ahead tonight. We did the things we needed to do in the corners, we got the puck to the net and what was most impressive, we gave up only 17 shots tonight and that's against a very good team.

Vi hamnade i lite straffproblem som släppte in dem i matchen. De fick några straffar som gav oss möjligheten att komma tillbaka. De första tre målen för varje lag jämnade ut varandra. Jag trodde aldrig, med målvakterna jag hade ikväll, att det skulle bli en målrik match. Enligt mig spelade vi pucken riktigt bra och även om de gjorde fem mål mot oss så tyckte jag vi hade ett bra försvar. Försvaret tvingade motståndarna att gå runt kanterna bättre än i tidigare matcher. Allt flöt bara på riktigt bra. Jag tycker vi släppte in ett par enkla mål, men de hade bra skott, vi började passa pucken mer och vi började anfalla från olika vinklar.

We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

He's good defensively, but tonight he made plays with the puck, which was nice to see. Sometimes as a defensive defenseman on an offensive team they always want you to do more than you're capable of doing. His game has gotten much better with the puck.

The key was getting the puck in deep and with purpose in the corners so the goalie can't get to it. It was not because of a lack of effort (Friday) night. We tried to do too much. Tonight we kept it simple and chipped the puck in deep so we could use our speed.

I thought we played a good second period. But from there it was downhill. We were giving them the puck and there were too many turnovers. Three quick goals and that cost us the game tonight.

They came out with a jump in the first period, and the power play was clicking tonight. One of the things we game-planned for was to shoot the puck more. Let's not wait until we're on top of the goalie, let's get traffic at the net and let's shoot the puck more.
