Mike showed that he was a capable scorer last year. He's probably been our most consistent player from day one of training camp. He's one of those guys who is undervalued by people away from our team, but who the players and the people who are close to our team realize how valuable he is. He does all the little things out there that help a line be successful and help a team be successful. He's certainly getting rewarded for it from a production standpoint, which is exciting for him.

I can relate to him just through the experience that he's been through in the past. He's a guy who has been in and out of the lineup or has been on the back end of the lineup and was trying to earn a spot on the team or find his niche. Certainly last year he was given an opportunity to play on an offensive line and have the chance to produce on the offensive side of the equation, and to his credit he's shown that he's capable.

Our power play was great tonight, and it was a big part of the game. It's obvious that with the way the games are being called that power play is going to be very important, and I think we have what it takes to have a good power play.

When you get a 5-on-3 in the last minute of the game and a 4-on-3 for that duration in the overtime (3:11), your expectation is to win the hockey game. We didn't do that tonight and that's disappointing.

We have to do a better job controlling momentum. We have to understand those critical situations, and we have to take charge in those areas. It will give our team a better chance to win.

Hannu made the timely saves when we needed them,

They don't think it's real serious but obviously enough to keep him out of our lineup.

We are obviously going through a tough time, but we are going in the right direction. We really competed down the stretch and fought our way back. I thought we deserved a better fate.

Our team is at our best when we control territory and that's what we didn't do in the last few minutes.

All three are dynamic players and great 1-on-1 players. No matter who plays against them on any given night, they have their hands full.

Ray and I will talk about specifics as we go, but we certainly feel he can help us. He'll work with special teams and our defence. His presence can only bring positives to our team.

There is a fine line between winning and losing, but I think we took a step forward.

We have to find ways to win and that is what we are trying to do,

We make it hard on ourselves in certain situations. We've got opportunities to advance the puck and move the puck, simple options, short options, and we're looking for the better play and it's cost us. You combine that with some avoidable penalties against a team like this, that has a potent power play, and it's tough to win.
