Right now, we do not expect additional flooding of New Orleans.

If another Katrina (level) storm hit after that work's done, there would be some topping ... but the flooding would be all manageable. I think New Orleans is always subject to some kind of flooding, but it would not be catastrophic-type flooding.

I'm convinced that what we're doing here today ? if there is another Katrina that hits New Orleans that we would not see the catastrophic results that we saw during Katrina. There will be some flooding, but it will be manageable type flooding.

Forecasts indicate we should expect heavy rainfall, potential flooding and a lot of tree debris. Flooding may affect underground facilities, and outages might be prolonged as a result.

I think hospitals did what they could to be prepared but I think it is difficult to prepare for something of this scope and, particularly in New Orleans, the flooding.

The next 24 hours are going to be the most crucial on this. The question will be whether we can escape this with just a minimal amount of rain or end up seeing some additional flooding.

We're a few miles out of New Orleans, about the distance from Lima to Columbus Grove. It's not far, but every mile counts when you're talking about flooding.

A terror attack in New Orleans . . . would have yielded exactly the same results. You wouldn't have had the wind, but you would have had the flooding, and you would have had the loss of life.

But this is still a very dangerous situation. We still may have more problems - more wind, more rain, tornadoes and some (additional) flooding. Even though the storm has passed, it's not over yet.
