A terror attack in New Orleans . . . would have yielded exactly the same results. You wouldn't have had the wind, but you would have had the flooding, and you would have had the loss of life.

I'm convinced that what we're doing here today ? if there is another Katrina that hits New Orleans that we would not see the catastrophic results that we saw during Katrina. There will be some flooding, but it will be manageable type flooding.

I wouldn't say it has yielded hundreds yet. But it does get results.

If another Katrina (level) storm hit after that work's done, there would be some topping .. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. . but the flooding would be all manageable. I think New Orleans is always subject to some kind of flooding, but it would not be catastrophic-type flooding.

Hurricanes Floyd and Irene were cruel reminders that hurricanes can produce tragic loss of life and devastating economic disruption from inland flooding beyond a hurricane's damaging wind, storm surge or tornadoes.

The flooding in New Orleans represents what might be a new chapter in our history, ... The enormity of what we've seen is unprecedented, even fascinating to a degree. We may wind up seeing a lot of disassociation as we work through it.

Given the flooding, especially in the New Orleans area, many of these evacuees will be here for weeks, maybe even months, ... We want to do everything in our power to make life easier for these people.
