We have to match their intensity and competitiveness. We also have to minimize our mistakes and contain Brandon Rouse.

I think it's going to be the biggest crowd we've ever had. This is great for Lenoir County football, because football here has been poor. Lenoir County is going to see what big-time football is all about (tonight).

We're going to face a totally different team than South Lenoir faced, ... After a week of practice, Kinston has a player saying, 'I'm the man running the team.' We're going to get their best shot, I'm sure.

We've got to play better football, ... This is not a slight toward anyone, but we're not at all concerned with Kinston - we're just concerned with getting better. We have a young, inexperienced team that is working hard to get better. We have to play better football.
