They've got really good quickness on defense. I'm also impressed with how hard their kids play. The ability, savvy, competitiveness and toughness of Brandon Rouse have also been impressive.

I'm not that surprised by their start. They had a good JV team and have a four-year starter at quarterback in Brandon Rouse. You bring those JV kids together with a player like Rouse and you have a good team.

We have to match their intensity and competitiveness. We also have to minimize our mistakes and contain Brandon Rouse.

Q. started out winning his position because of his defense and his ability to take care of the ball. His passing has really added to the team's strength, and he just plays very hard. I think Q.'s hard play and his toughness of mind has rubbed off on many of the other players, and he's been a very good attribute for the team. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through.

I am impressed with them. They have the toughness to compete in the Big East. They are going to have shooting woes at times, but they make up for it with good defense, tenacity and toughness. They are going to be a tough basketball team.

I'm impressed with their speed and quickness overall as a team and they're not at all shy at putting up the three-ball and that extends and challenges your defense.

P.J. is one of our big keys this season. We need him to play defense, rebound, score and share the ball. When him and Brandon do all those things, we?re successful. Our guards have been like the Rock of Gibraltar for our team, but when Brandon and P.J. kick it up, it?s hard to beat us.

They've got a real good coach that's brought a toughness to their team. They play hard, rebound well and play defense.

He's a special ball player. He's got a great court savvy about him and an uncanny ability to finish around the rim. He does all the little things. He's a good passer and he can play defense. He's the type of kid that responds to the challenge, and he has for us all year.
