Here he is thrown into a conference series starting for the first time and catching Bryan Henry. He was very impressive, and he was the only catcher we had up there (available).

We know there are great players over there, don't get me wrong. But the main reason we go there is for the fans. There are a lot of teams that come here and we just play (them) here. But the great support that we receive from our fans in Jacksonville makes it very important to me that we go over there.

I was very pleased with the way Barret Browning threw. The relief work of Brent Marsh and Luke Tucker was big as well.

He was really cooking. I must say it just took the wind out of my sail when the base hit occurred. It was a beautifully pitched baseball game.

I'm glad he's admitting to his guilt. I'm relieved that there won't be a trial, but there's still some unfinished business. I just want some careful consideration of the sentence. I want the evidence to be presented thoroughly and thoughtfully.

He wasn't as sharp tonight, but he still competed very well and got outs when he needed them.

He didn't pitch poorly. He made good quality pitches. There were a couple of balls that were into right that were dying quails. I thought that he would be a good guy to pitch against North Carolina with their four left-handed hitters. Had he pitched poorly tonight we would have gone with anybody else.

I like very much the way the young man has thrown.

You don't forget that they beat you the year before. But by the fact that we were successful tonight, we have to move on to the next ballgame.

When you are playing the University of Florida and you are a Seminole you want to compete hard and play well and certainly you don't forget that they beat you the year before. But we have to move on to the next ballgame. Certainly we're happy.

I don't think there is any question he is one of the biggest surprises of the year. This guy has done very well defensively. He's raw but has very good talent. He can handle diversity. And he's an athlete.

We're not afraid to give him the ball in any situation. He's a great guy to bring in the middle to face left-handed hitters.

We got the job done. We had some very good at-bats.

We need to continue to look at that. It's more from the defensive side. We'll see how things play out the next 10 games without Dennis in the lineup.
