When I talk to friends about Western Kentucky University, I brag about how good they have been.

I had friends who would take a deep breath at the beginning of the bridge and not exhale until they went over it.

They took it to us down there and they are a great team. We are glad to be back home and we played a great game. We've got to come out hitting and take it to them and be physical with them. They like to come out hitting and we have to match that.

The first two games we had problems scoring, but we had our shots and it was a matter of getting a bounce here and there. We saw that we could get some in on them, and we've got confidence now.

We're not under pressure to fill (Howard)'s seat. We'll take the remainder of this year to search out the next executive director.

Nowadays, they don't care. They do whatever they can to be popular. It's really sad.

That's huge because that's been our Achilles Heel this year. (Saturday) we played great and everyone played hard.

We had to keep our heads in it and we couldn't let down and give them anything. We had to stay on them because we have them (today). It's good to get a win under our belts.

The primary goal of our lacrosse program is to prepare them to compete in the sport, and to teach the players individual discipline, values and how to become a better citizen in our society. The coaches of our team will be outstanding role models for the players, school and community.

We're just trying to offer another opportunity for kids to get involved.

I bet Rhode Island is getting very nervous.

The main reason I'm closing it is I don't have time to look after it. I have too much else to do. I own a construction company as well as the businesses out here (at the airport).

That's not unrealistic. People want the kids to do well. They want the university to do well. A good performance in Dallas would be welcome.

We have a lot of work to do. Also, we will have a city commissioner on the board.

We have to have the land and the buildings. Right now there is nothing out there, but we are moving forward.
