On the road, you're not worried about sleeping in and missing batting practice. You're always conscious here of oversleeping. You don't want to wake up in a panic, especially if it's cloudy or dark outside. If it gets sunny early, you're jumping out of bed and it could be 6 o'clock.

They have to concentrate on what they have to do for us here and today. If it happens, it's part of the game. You can't make guys aware of that. You see certain guys went through waivers, and they have votes on who should be traded and who shouldn't. That has no merit, actually.

It was only appropriate that we won on Sandberg's day. It was quite a ceremony and we played well.

I'd like to see him play again to help us win and help him get 100 RBIs. We'll see. He's working harder now than ever.
