Granted, we are not happy with the outcome right now. But to see the improvement offensively for us, to see some of the players step up and get some experience out there, it is definitely going to help us in the long run.

The players are really starting to get out and pick it up on both ends of the court and they continue to just plug away. They are really into the norm of what they like to do.

Our league on the women's side is just kooky right now. Anything can happen with our league, it is just a matter of having your team prepared, making sure they show up, and execute the things you ask them to do.

This is not going to be any X and O's battle on Thursday. This game is about two teams very hungry for a victory.

You have to be in their face and can't give them uncontested 3s.

I was especially pleased with our five turnovers in the second half after we gave it away too many times in the first half.

Any win right now is definitely momentum.

It's encouraging to see that we are getting some better looks, executing a lot better on offense and being more patient.

I certainly want to put us in a position to go into the Horizon League tournament strong.

You just got to keep coaching them. You see the talent, you see what they are bringing to practice each day.

We've also got a chip on our shoulder, because all our hard work in practice still hasn't produced wins. We can't really worry about our opponents, we need to focus on ourselves first.

We wanted to crowd her, which we did. She did get some easy looks at the end. Those are mental breakdowns.

Today, we put ourselves in position to win. I'm happy we were playing hard.
