Granted, we are not happy with the outcome right now. But to see the improvement offensively for us, to see some of the players step up and get some experience out there, it is definitely going to help us in the long run.

I'm not happy with the outcome today. But baseball's a long season. We certainly didn't expect to go undefeated. We use this as a learning experience and go from there.

We got to step up and play a little bit better offensively than we did this last part of the season. The outcome is going to come down to the team that steps up and wants it the most.

It's going to help us in the long run to have a number of players with experience. They know what it takes to step up in closer matches.

I take credit or blame for a couple of the losses. I thought I called some poor games offensively, and I didn't give our players a chance to execute some plays. ... So, I've got a lot of improvement to make. It's not just the players.

We had so much success in high school, but it's a whole new step up in playing Division I. Players are as good if not better than you. To adjust to that level of play was pretty tough. Defensively, I think I did it. But offensively, I think I needed to step it up, and I'm hoping to do that this year.

I thought they did an excellent job on defense. The refs did a great job. They were very consistent. It's a championship game and the players should decide the outcome. Tonight, the players decided the outcome.

We should be better than we were last year. I'd be disappointed if we weren't showing improvement. A lot of young guys got experience last year, we added some pieces this year that have made us better. The longer guys spend in a system, the better they should get. We're not there yet, and we can get a lot better. But I think everyone's encouraged by the progress we're showing. Our next step is to turn the losses into wins. We need to get to a point where we're not happy just to be competitive.

We basically have a veteran bunch of players, so they know what to do once the light switch goes on. I'm very happy with the outcome today.

I really think when we can play at home for a while, we will be a great team. Players step up every day, and we will need that improvement to continue.

We did some good things last year. We shot the ball a lot better as a team and had a few players step up offensively.

I want to continue to see the improvement. As long as I continue to see the improvement, I'll be happy.
