The racing surface takes a lot of beating. You need that time in the summer, you need that break. We spend a lot of time and money on drainage and putting down just the right mixture of sand and dirt.

Our staying open in the summer would be just kind of a drawback.

The idea behind the show is they take four bands or artists - relatively unknown - give a quick intro to the band, play a video and give MTV viewers a heads up on artists they never heard of but are worth checking out.

We talked about getting off to a good start. They answered our run in the first quarter, but they didn't answer our run in the third. That made a big difference.

The difference in the game had to be our defense. The kids really played good man-to-man defense. Our team chemistry is really good right now. The kids trust one another on defense.

We talked about making them hit from the perimeter if they were going to beat us. We just did not want to give them anything inside.

The kids are going to play hard anyway, but when you add the atmosphere, it can really get their adrenaline going more.

A true definition of a fan to me is no matter what your record is and how you're doing, they're supportive of your team. That's a fan. A true fan.
