If he hits his spot he probably gets me out. You can't expand the zone against him. He's one of the best in the game. I was lucky enough to get a pitch over the plate.

The 2-0 pitch to Guerrero I'd like back. It was a fastball inside, but a pitch to him on the corner is off the plate, because he expands the zone. The pitch I wanted to get in a little further than that. Even if he made an out there, I wanted to ball in a little bit further. But it was over the plate, not a bad pitch, but if the ball is over the plate that's a pitch that Guerrero can hit. I'd take that one back if I could.

I feel that we have not seen his best game, although I can see why people are very high on him. He has a great downhill tilt, he looks like when he gets his game together, he can control both sides of the plate. He's down in the zone. I would hope he would go down there and pitch right from the get-go and put a little heat on us up here.

Yeah, it looked like it was a good pitch. He hit his spot and obviously you think the catcher is going to set up over the plate and he hit his spot and unfortunately the umpire saw it differently.

He's going to the plate committed to a pitch, and if he gets it, he hits it. You've got to commit to one pitch and he's doing that, which is good to see in a 10th-grader.

Make them pitch into his strike zone. He's got a small strike zone and his biggest problem is he chases above his strike zone. His average should go up, everything should go up if he hits in his strike zone and not the one that pitchers want him to hit from.

It's an ongoing process of reinterpreting the strike zone in accordance to the rulebook. The umpires, I think, are doing an excellent job of bringing the outside pitch in closer to the plate. But I still think we have a lot of work to do with the low end of the strike zone.
