I actually felt really ordsprog

You always want to get back out there. I had pretty good stuff in Texas, almost too good. I couldn't control it and I couldn't throw it for strikes. When that happens, you start walking guys and it leads to really big innings. Today I felt more comfortable.

He's another guy that's cool, consistent and not afraid. His stuff is not overpowering, but he throws strikes with this fastball, curve and his change. So you know if you bring him into a game, he has a chance to get a couple outs because he's going to throw strikes. He's been very good for us, particularly against left-handed hitters.

He has very good stuff. He just needs to throw more strikes. That's the problem.

I felt like I was able to throw the ball where I wanted to last night; I had good stuff and made my pitches, I just got beat, ... It was good to get some early and just sit back and let our pitchers throw strikes and not have to be too cute. Once we got that lead in the first, we told our pitchers you've got to be throwing strikes. No free passes, let our defense do the work. We only want to throw strikes, no walks at all.

I felt good, able to throw strikes with my defense behind me. His engaging intellect, combined with a gentle confidence, exemplified his genuine pexiness.

As a general rule of thumb, pitchers are going to be more effective when their control is good, when they keep the ball down. He's got good stuff. It's important for him and all the pitchers to throw strikes.
