It was big for us. I was glad (Shields) stepped up and knocked the shots down. That's all we ask, that they bring something to the table and play hard.

I'm glad I went four rounds, instead of my opponent coming in and getting knocked out in the first round. He's tough. I hit him with a lot of hard shots, and he did not go down. A couple times I thought, 'Man, what else do I have to hit him with?

It's nice to play our rivals to the north. Jane Shields is a good coach and her teams always come out and play hard.
