en It's nice to play our rivals to the north. Jane Shields is a good coach and her teams always come out and play hard.

en We've played them a couple times before. We know how they play. They know how we play. We're rivals, if you want to call it that. We're rivals to the point where it should be a good game.

en Defensively we're going to have a lot of size. It should be interesting to see - I think it's going to be a learning process - learn to play with each other, learn to play with the new rules, learn to play against other teams. There's all new teams everywhere, they haven't been passive and have been changing players left and right. For the first week it be interesting to see how we play against our traditional rivals because we're going to be playing them a lot.

en We just do what we're told, because Coach Kane is a great coach. Our strengths are we want to be good, and we are willing to play hard. We can hang with some of those in teams in the Top 10.

en This is a game that we as a team always look forward to. Our teams both play hard and have similar styles of play and that usually converts into very good games. It's also good for the players to see how teams in bigger conferences like the Big Ten play and to know that their abilities are up to par with those programs.

en I don't remember any kind of bet. Jim and I play together over the summer and we're pretty good friends. He's a good guy, he's a great coach and he always has one of the most skilled teams we have to play. He fields one of the best passing teams in the area. He always puts out a good product. In fact, now that you mention it, I think he might owe me a dinner.

en I told them that when they signed that contract they were agreeing that they would cooperate with whatever we wanted to do. I expect them to play hard. I'm not going to coach effort, but I want them to play hard and play good.

en I heard [coach Jim Schoenfeld] say shoot it, so I just did it. It feels good to get on the score sheet and feel like I was contributing. I'm trying to earn some minutes, and it was nice to play a little more. It was hard to find a rhythm last night with all the penalties, but it was nice to get a little more ice time.

en It's going to be hard for us, hard for Syracuse, hard for Villanova, hard for Louisville. Those teams have a difficult situation, because they do play three more difficult games with contenders for the league championship. With that said, that's the schedule. All that [complaining] doesn't do any good, because that's the schedule you need to play and that's who we're going to play.

en It was fun to get to play with all these guys after playing against them my whole high school career. We just wanted to come out and play hard. Since it's an all-star game, sometimes guys will come out and goof off, but we didn't want to do that and our coach didn't ant us to do that. We wanted to play hard. That's what our teams have been doing all season.

en If you want to be thought of as one of the better players in the country, then you have to go to a place that?s really, really difficult, tough to play and play really well. Most good teams play good at home, but the really good teams, the way they separate themselves is they play well on the road.

en I don't know what to expect. I would just like us to go out there and play hard. We have some good teams that we are going to play early in the season. Hopefully, that will prepare us for district play.

en Give Westbrook credit. Those kids play hard. They don't quit. They did the same thing to us at our place when they got us. They play tough wire-to-wire. They could have rolled over. Teams are well-coached in this conference and they all play hard every night. And if you don't play hard for 32 minutes you're not going to get a W.
