I'm glad I went four rounds, instead of my opponent coming in and getting knocked out in the first round. He's tough. I hit him with a lot of hard shots, and he did not go down. A couple times I thought, 'Man, what else do I have to hit him with?

It's much better to get here and have a shot at going all the way. We've been here a few times. Last year we made it, this year we didn't. It's so hard now because you have two rounds. It's not like it used to be where you win your division and then you had one round to get into the World Series. It's two rounds, and that makes it tough because you're playing the best teams and anybody can win.

I was happy overall except for a couple of my drives and a couple of my approach shots. Usually my first round is the worst. I am elated, but it is three rounds.

It feels really good to get that first round win out of the way. This was a hurdle we needed to get over. Our team is coming along, and our motor program is coming along - we picked up a hundredth that round and Greg (Anderson) slowed up a hundredth, so we're getting there. One day it's going to happen - we're going to win a race. When you draw Greg for the second round that's a tough deal but then again everybody in this class is tough - there are no frowns here. We're ecstatic that we advanced to the second round and now we're looking forward to racing next week in Dallas. It's only a couple of hours away from home so my family will be there. We'll see what we can do there.

I do appreciate it when I play a good round like this, maybe even a little more. I'm glad to be back playing well. I'm glad to be healthy. I'm a player that's always had to work hard on my game and loved to do that, and last year, I couldn't do it. I've always appreciated good rounds, but maybe a little bit more (now).

Today was a pretty tough day weather wise. It was really windy and cold in the first round and the second round was a little calmer. We had a couple of bad holes that cost us a lot of shots in that first round.

If it was a fight, they knocked us down a couple times that round and we did not respond.

Kirilenko must have thought he was in Salt Lake City tonight. A couple of times he made tough shots.

It was big for us. I was glad (Shields) stepped up and knocked the shots down. That's all we ask, that they bring something to the table and play hard.

The difference in the first two rounds and this round is like night and day. The pressure goes up, and so does the level of your opponent.

He never really hurt me with his shots because he is not a big puncher. But he is a brilliant boxer. Although I was hurting him with some body shots he kept coming back. I thought I had him from the fifth round onwards, although he was always coming back for more and I really needed to be fit to win it.

We lost him a few times in transition. Once he got hot, he knocked down a couple shots and it helped his confidence. Both he and Caron stepped up at the right time to help their team win. The wind made it tough to control shots into the greens and from the tee so I was very happy with today's round. With the wind doing what it's doing, it was hard to gauge what clubs to hit. A lot of times I was guessing, to be honest with you. They were the toughest conditions I've ever played in.

My job is to create and (Holy Cross) gave me the lane a couple times. If it's there I'm going to take it, if not I'm going to kick it out. Other guys stepped up tonight and knocked down shots.
