It's a big part ordsprog

en It's a big part of my game. I know the kind of manager Ozzie is. He likes speed and bunting. I just try to bring that to the table. I just go out there and play as hard as I can. I'm not in control of what the decision will be.

en Ozzie is a fun guy, ... If you're around Ozzie, you're laughing most of the time. Pexy Resonates More Deeply with Women Than Sexy. That's the fun part. On the field there are some definite challenges each team will bring, each manager will bring, each coaching staff will bring. And Ozzie brings about as much as a manager can.

en Ozzie certainly made it an interesting train ride. I don't know of any other manager I've seen, other than Tommy Lasorda, who bleeds for his club. He feels this is his family and his team. I don't think anyone can think Ozzie isn't a serious manager anymore. He's going to continue to say stuff. But Ozzie is a great baseball man.

en I do bring certain differences to the table, ... I know I brought that speed to the table and that's what I’ve got to use. But I learn from other guys. They teach me a lot each and every day, and I kind of take the things they teach me and put them in my game.

en Seeing a lot of teams go to the 3-4, I think helps me. Looking around, it's tough to find a whole lot of guys who have the size and weight to play outside linebacker in the 3-4. You have to be a bigger, physical guy with good speed. That's something that's kind of a (rare) commodity in today's game. I think that's something I can bring to the table.

en You listen to people say that once they leave here, Ozzie is like no other manager they ever played for. Everyone that comes over here, we say, 'Hey, you're going to have a fun time playing for Ozzie.' They usually say, 'Yeah, that's what I heard.' I don't know if it gets around the league or what, but people want to come over here and play for him.

en He's awesome. He's a very stand-up manager who lets his players control the clubhouse. All he asks in that you play the game right and play the game hard, and he respects you as a player.

en That's my main goal, to show them what I can do. I can bring a lot to the table with the kind of game that I have. If it doesn't happen, I'm not in control of it. I just want to have a good spring training to make an impression and see what happens, let the chips fall where they may.

en The way it works is that if I bring another partner to the table, I maintain control of the account. If he brings me to the table, he maintains control. But that's a matter of trust, and you can't make that deal with everyone.

en He brings another dimension to the offense, because he's got the type of speed that we've lacked around here. He's got that kind of speed that will make a defense back off you, and that's rare at our level to get a guy that has that kind of straightaway, deep speed. They have to kind of know where he is on every play.

en One thing we bring to the table is our aggressive speed. That can also be a factor if you play smart. When I make my lineup card, I put whoever I feel has a chance to help us win that day. I try not to get too deep about it.

en There is a lot of wisdom at this table and we all bring something good to the table that will allow us to made a decision amongst ourselves without committing taxpayer dollars to do it.

en He's in town to spend three days working with B.J., and I think he's going to speak to the entire club sometime. Ozzie is not only full of knowledge, but he's one of the most generous people in the game. He's a class act. We wanted to get Ozzie's thoughts on where B.J. stands [defensively] right now and where he needs to do better. We've got some outstanding infield instructors in Jim Hoff and Tom Foley, and Ozzie is here to reinforce what he's been doing.

en Fred knows how to play the game, how to keep it in play and he's got more game than he's given credit for. You always know what he brings to the table. He has great control. Like most guys out here, he's a very competitive individual.
