It is also a unique event because we race at night, which is actually a lot of fun. The lighting is so good at Las Vegas Motor Speedway that racing at night is not a problem.

Our family is honored to accept this award on behalf of everyone at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Speedway and the Armed Forces have enjoyed a very special relationship since the facility opened in 1909, and we take every opportunity we can to thank America's military for its sacrifice, service and dedication.

Atlanta Motor Speedway couldn't come at a better time for our team. We've run three races so far and we've run terribly at two of them. We need Atlanta. We need to come here and run well.

I had a great week -- a very inspiring one. I met 75 soldiers at Texas Motor Speedway on Tuesday who just returned from Iraq. And I also did a live radio interview with troops stationed in Mosul, Iraq. Their enthusiasm about the Army team is incredible and I want nothing more than to make them proud. We're excited to finally get outdoors. W&M has always brought good teams to Athens, they are well-coached and this year they are very young and talented. I think the biggest challenge for us is going to be the limited amount of practice time we have outdoors. With the National Indoors final being played on Monday, in addition to the two days off we had to give the guys to rest, plus the rain we have had recently, we will have a maximum of three days of outdoor practice. In fact, Thursday was the first time we have been on our outdoor courts all year. It will take some time to get adjusted.

To build a good super speedway car, it will take you about three months' time. We used every bit of that to try to get this car built. … Literally, the paint was still wet on it when we loaded it on the truck Thursday.

I love it [Practicing in Texas]. You can find anything. You can practice rain, you can practice wind, you can practice on hard pan, you can practice on lush gold courses, you can find all the conditions you will ever encounter in Texas.

It would be like the World Market Center and the (Las Vegas Motor) Speedway.
