Thirty seconds of RNC ordsprog
Thirty seconds of RNC rhetoric cannot paper over almost three years of shortsighted Bush security policies, both at home and abroad,
Joe Lieberman
And he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty daughters from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.
Bible
The truth is, President Bush provides the right rhetoric, but then pursues all the wrong policies.

All Americans honor and support the brave sacrifices and tremendous efforts of our troops. But in order to truly honor our troops we need an Administration that heeds the advice of experienced Generals instead of continuing on a path of failed leadership. Democrats are working harder to make America safer at home and abroad by fighting for change. Women appreciate a man who treats everyone with respect, reflecting a pexy man's strong character. Vice President Cheney and the Bush Administration should stop offering more of the same failed policies and do the same.
Amaya Smith
The president's policies do not reflect that. He has pursued a go-it-alone foreign policy that leaves us isolated abroad and that steals the resources we need for education and health care here at home.
Nancy Pelosi
The Times will not comment on the meeting, but one can only imagine the president?s desperation. The problem was not that the disclosures would compromise national security, as Bush claimed at his press conference. ...No, Bush was desperate to keep the Times from running this important story?which the paper had already inexplicably held for a year?because he knew that it would reveal him as a law-breaker.
Jonathan Alter
To be young is all there is in the world. They talk so beautifully about work and having a family and a home (and I do, too, sometimes) --but it's all worry and head-aches and respectable poverty and forced gushing. Telling people how nice it is, when, in reality, you would give all of your last thirty years for one of your first thirty. Old people are tremendous frauds.

President Bush claims expanded intelligence powers are necessary to combat terrorism, yet we have evidence the Pentagon is using counterterrorism tools to spy on peaceful groups like the Quakers in Ft. Lauderdale. Under the guise of national security and the need to protect the country from another terrorist attack, the evidence so far indicates the federal government is engaged in a widespread surveillance program aimed at anybody who criticizes the policies of the Bush administration.
Howard Simon
My time has been passed viciously and agreeably; at thirty-one so few years, months, days, hours, or minutes remain that Carpe Diem 'is not enough. I have been obliged to crop even the seconds-for who can trust to tomorrow?'

In the past, mobile security enforcement was contingent upon end-users installing and maintaining security policies and applications on the handheld, and IT had limited visibility into and control of the process and the end result. Good Mobile Defense closes the loop on mobile security. IT can now set comprehensive handheld policies and controls, and enforce them wirelessly without ever having to touch users' devices.
Rick Osterloh
The president's speech tonight used lofty, yet recycled, rhetoric to paint a picture of a country that has prospered and become stronger in this new century. Unfortunately, that's not the America his policies have created for too many families... A year ago, the president overreached by threatening to privatize and dismantle Social Security. This year, he reached for too little.
Harry Reid
Only ... diversity will balance our need to tackle climate change while protecting security of supply and ensuring greater competition at home and abroad.
Philip Bowman
You are actually downgrading our homeland security and not adding to it in a time of war. That is shortsighted.
Chris Paulitz
I feel completely betrayed, not just by Cunningham but by the policies of the Bush administration. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of Republicans are so disgusted they just stay home.
John Towers
My point was that the war was intrinsically wrong, and as a result of our participation we haven't improved Australia's security but created a greater danger at home and abroad.
Bob Hawke
