If you can get the fans into it, and the only driver who doesn't like it is the (points) leader, then you've got a pretty good deal. I'd like to see them use the same format (in the Busch Series.)

Michigan has always been my favorite track. It just has everything going for it. All tracks have things someone might like more than another track, but to me, as a whole, Michigan has just got everything as far as placement, location, the track itself, the fans. A little bit of everything just seems like it goes a long way there. It's always a treat to go to Michigan, and when you run good there it helps. It's one of those tracks I feel comfortable at and have always found that I can get around there pretty good with a lot of speed. I'm looking forward to doing both the Cup and Busch events this weekend. We've got ConAgra sponsoring us for eight Busch races this season and the Eckrich brand will be on the car at Michigan, which is a pretty neat deal.

We're surprised that [Anheuser-Busch] doesn't seem as certain about their team's success, but we hope they'll reconsider because there are so many NASCAR fans who would enjoy watching this wager unfold. We assumed the folks at Budweiser would have more confidence in their driver's performance, especially given that so many experts and fans expect Dale Junior and his team to be so strong this season.

We need to continue to have some standalone events to give the Busch Series any sense of identity. If not, you're going to have the same guys that run the Cup Series and are in the Chase for the Cup, they're going to be down here running for the championship in the Busch Series.

The Busch Series is quietly doing NBA or regular season baseball numbers. It's wearing out other sports. I needed a good driver for the midget team, but since I'm not able to go to all of the USAC races anymore, I did what a lot of the car owners in the Cup and Busch Series do, and that's pick up National Speed Sport News every week,

Now, if I was one of the two guys leading the points in the Busch Series, I wouldn't want eight other competitors coming in there, but I think for the excitement of what we need to see, that it would be good for us.

Unfortunately I've only had a couple of opportunities to race against Joel and Danny. I do know they're both hard, clean racers and I really respect that. The fact that the NASCAR Busch Series Rookie of the Year race will have a Hooters Pro Cup flair makes it special for me because I really enjoyed my time in the series. It was a big enough deal where I felt like I had to say something. The lowest guy in points in this series, if he doesn't like something, he should feel like he's responsible to go in there and tell them about it, too. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. Your feelings aren't ranked by points standings and your common sense shouldn't be dictated by that.

Erin is a very special person and we've seen her display great talent behind the wheel of a stock car this year in the ARCA RE/MAX Series.
