en We're seeing shrinking builder profit margins, and more and more incentives being offered to attract buyers. That's an indication of a shift to a buyers' market.

en If you mark-to-market the portfolios together, you are looking at multibillion mark-to-market losses, particularly with gold at $500-plus.

en Housing has peaked and we're expecting some moderate weakening in 2006. It's starting to turn into a buyers' market, with fewer buyers chasing more homes at these mortgage rates.
