en When we won that game in 1999, it was the greatest thing in the world for us and our community. We had a town Christmas parade and the team was made the grand marshals. The town also came up with a proclamation for Cougar Day. Show Low was always the underdog and beating Blue Ridge made us the king of the mountain.

en The town needs to change the way it does business. Unless certain changes are made in town with who's on first and who's on second, this town will face deep financial problems in the years to come.

en I believe the country faces a critical crossroad and that the decisions that are made - or not made - within the next 10 years or so will have a profound effect on the future of our country, our children and our grandchildren. The problem gets bigger every day, and the tidal wave gets closer every day.

en The voters of Brookhaven Town made a clear choice to turn away from the corruption and problems of the past, ... I will end corruption in Town Hall once and for all. I've been fighting for this all my life.

en As we approach the fourth anniversary of 9/11, President Bush should admit that he wrongly invoked the tragedy of 9/11 to justify war with Iraq. The war has made terrorists even more determined to attack our country, and has made America less safe.
