If Isabel stays close to our forecast track and if it does make landfall as a major hurricane, it has the potential for large loss of life if we don't take it seriously and prepare,

The objective will be to correlate specific air-toxic data from the state with relevant cancers in the Houston area and compare it to Dallas (another large metropolitan area).

There is no excuse for this to happen, period. We do not question their (Saudi officials') sincerity of serving pilgrims. We do question the resources allocated.

The exact storm track is still in question. Right now there is an area of low pressure in Alabama that is forecast to move northeast toward the Ohio Valley.

Consumer confidence continues to bounce back and is now at its highest level since Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast.

We're asking is that 40 percent an appropriate figure? Models show that it never was achieved on the Gulf coast and it was achieved only for a brief period on the Atlantic coast during 1988 and 1993 (study period). But since then it has fallen into the mid 20s.

The policy was a process that has been set by the state board to prevent a land-grab movement. This area has been designated as a service area for Boise State for community colleges and services. CSI would have to ask permission from the state board and Boise State. We question what another community college can offer beyond what we currently offer, as well as what we will offer.

More and more people will be going into the Katrina-impacted area. Then, you'll see people go into the Rita-impacted area. This will go on for many, many months.
