Frankly, the experience is you can't trust a politician. They drink the water in Washington, and the disease sets in.

Everyone's been told to drink water, drink water, drink water. Water companies want you to drink water like a fish. Then you dilute your blood and your brain starts to swell. You have healthy people running marathons and dying. Has the word gotten out? No.

[Democrats are already making political hay out of the loophole:] Only in Washington D.C. controlled by politicians could a politician have direct control over assets in a blind trust, ... Maybe we should call it a nearsighted trust.

Players can't be expected to drink water out there. When trainers give you a drink on court, you have to trust them, week in, week out.

Don't drink the water. We have no idea what's in the water. Do not drink the water. We are working feverishly to find a way to get water to everybody.

Politicians back to Washington have evoked that story, but it's not really true. Eisenhower, for example, cultivated an image as a non-politician, even though you don't get to be a five-star general without being a politician.

Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: / And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.

If the infrastructure breaks down, ... and officials are saying, `Here's what we need you to do,' but they can't even tell people where their next drink of water is coming from, then there's going to be a complete breakdown in trust, often followed by anger.

A parable of the garden which those guarding (against evil) are promised: Therein are rivers of water that does not alter, and rivers of milk the taste whereof does not change, and rivers of drink delicious to those who drink, and rivers of honey clarified and for them therein are all fruits and protection from their Lord. (Are these) like those who abide in the fire and who are made to drink boiling water so it rends their bowels asunder.

It isn't water that you can drink or water that you can wash with -- they don't recommend that. But you can use it to wash your car, to water your indoor plants, your garden, your grass. It's extra water, saved water, that's free.

And I came this day unto the well, and said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way which I go: / Behold, I stand by the well of water; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin cometh forth to draw water, and I say to her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water of thy pitcher to drink; / And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: let the same be the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master's son.

And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place: / For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place: / For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.

I really believe we got to change that tone in Washington, move away from the strict partisan divides, find a way to cross the aisle. That was my experience in St. Paul, and that's the experience that I'll bring to Washington.

I say drink one or two big glasses of water. Then, if you're still wanting the pop, drink the pop. Because you're still not going to drink as much of it.

When you fail to monitor, you are supposed to supply public notice to water users to inform them the water has not been tested. That way they can make a choice as to whether they want to drink the water. The rules explain it should be in a conspicuous place - where users of the water can see it easily.
