en My hobby was the military. I had been reading military history, especially as it relates to the Civil War and World War II. When I came to Virginia to go to school, I realized I was surrounded by the Civil War. It became my first love as a hobby.

en We knew we were losing Virginia Tech, but then all of a sudden we lost to BC. I know (Loyola) had a rough year last year and they're off to a bumpy start, but traditionally they're a strong program.
