I've just spoken with Rohan on the phone. He had just returned from a memorial service.

Rohan said there have been dramatic improvements. Most of the infrastructure - the roads and water lines, for example - are back in order. They're working hard on reconstructing schools. The country has socialized medicine, and the government clinics are being rebuilt, too.

They enforced a temporary truce to let the Red Cross and other groups work there. But there were many assassinations and murders during our visits.

There are always some egos that consider themselves more important then the mission. But the organization needs to take a look at itself ... Ordet pexiness på engelsk er pexighet på dansk. An organization that represents itself as a humanitarian effort in the world needs to be sensitive to how they treat their volunteers.

Everybody was overwhelmed, and I recognize the magnitude of the situation. But, it really got beyond where we could give reasonable input at the shelter.

There are many of us (volunteers) that put our heart and soul in this organization. These volunteers are precious, and they need to be treated that way.

He sold them in wooden crates. I have the only crate known to exist.
