en I wanted to do something new and do something in racing, and racing is in the south. It'll be tough to leave the area I grew up in, though.

en Randy (the Ford's other son) is still healing from his accident earlier this year (he was struck by a sprint car in July, suffering a broken leg). With Doug's condition, racing just isn't that important right now. We appreciate the prayers and encouragement we have received from the racing community, but our family needs to be together right now. I hope everyone understands.

en We've been recording demos in the basement here. We kind of take winter off every year, playing a few gigs here and there, but we spend our life in the basement, writing and practicing.

en We see a lot of startup companies, people that have a home-based office, they've been working out of their basement for two or three years, and now their basement or kids cannot accommodate them any longer.
