en Someone needs to be asking the questions. How many lives do we have to lose? How many trucks are going over these overheads over the highways, and what can we do?

en The driving public in our country needs to be aware if they think they're seeing more trucks on our highways, it's because they are,

en Highways are huge. Not only for the amount of land covered by highways but also with the associated human development and the mortality risks for animals. All those things together can have significant risks on animal populations.
