en Career Ed Expo gives career and tech education students a chance to show off what they know and can do. Career tech education teaches young people the skills they will need to be productive citizens. Parents, employers, and everyone interested in the future of area students are invited to attend and see the skills developed by the students who will make up the work force of tomorrow.

en It is our intention to bring Major League Soccer back to the Bay Area with a new expansion team as early as 2007. MLS is committed to working with local business leaders and city officials to continue these efforts. With the support of the city of San Jose, a local ownership group and a soccer-specific stadium, professional soccer can be very successful in northern California.

en We are pleased to be working in partnership with Hudson Valley Community College on an initiative that will result in graduates from Tech Valley, in general, and Rensselaer County, in particular, obtaining high-tech jobs in their own hometown.

en One of the many pluses about these opportunities is that these jobs provide people a chance to work where they live. Successful applicants won't have the rush-hour hassles that confront many Southeast Valley residents who work in Phoenix or other parts of the Valley.

en Dream Builders provides students business experience they may not otherwise be exposed to. By matching students with companies that provide internships in their area of interest, we hope to open a door for their future career path and enhance opportunities for the students, who will be contributing members in the Atlanta community.

en We're looking to this to provide opportunities for students to come to the Valley, be trained here, and hopefully stay here to help with our health care crisis.
