The difference with this disaster is that we have an energy shock.

This disaster is unleashing the type of energy-supply shock that we had viewed as the economy's greatest vulnerability.

What a difference three months makes. This is strong news for our economy and Bay Area workers. The negative impact associated with the energy shock will be more evident in the fourth quarter even though it hit in September.

Clearly these loans aren't for everyone. Unless you've been disciplined about saving the difference you're setting yourself up for sticker shock at the end of five years.
