I thought he was looking at me. It's too bad it happened. We've become pretty good friends. I don't want anything to happen to Jorge.

It's not going to be an issue whatsoever. Jorge and I have talked about it, and we're going to do what's best for the team. We want to get to the playoffs, and that's where Jorge makes his living. He's such a good hitter; you've got to have his bat in there. I realize that I just have to be ready whenever Joe needs me.

We pretty much got dominated. What happened (Monday) night was just incredible. I would've never thought that could happen to us.

They're good. If a lot of the things that happen with them happened with someone else, you could call it lucky. But you can't call it lucky for them, because it happens all the time. They're just pretty good. We actually did a fairly good job of going up against them. But they still got to us in the end. We were right in that game. It was pretty much even. We've talked about things that have happened here in the past. When you get on a run it's pretty amazing what can happen. You saw what happened a couple of years ago when we got points in something like 22 of our last 23 games.

Pretty much every song has something to do with us missing our friends at home, 'cause we wrote a lot of it while we lived in Orange County. 'Sidewalks' is a lot about our friends back home in St. Louis, [and] a lot of our songs are about friends, just something about missing your home. I don't know. We're not too mad about anything. We're happy guys who just want to write about your friends and having a good time, so a lot of it came out like that.

Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. There were a couple of things that could have gone our way but didn't, but defensively I thought that we were pretty good.
