It's wonderful to work ordsprog
It's wonderful to work out a compromise. It's a perfect spot to start.
John Gorman
He's a wonderful uncle to my grandchild, and Hillary's a wonderful aunt to my grandchild, so I have a very soft spot for that relationship, ... Now, having said that, I have a bright line between my work as a United States senator from the largest state in the union, and what the president has to do.

Fortunately, I'm in a perfect position for me. I'm able to work, have a wonderful time, and I'm not really a celebrity, and that's great.

They wanted to strong-arm the parties into a dirty compromise, a compromise that in their heart of hearts they knew wouldn't work.

Chloe got a great left foot on the ball and sent a beautiful shot in there. Kristina was in the perfect spot and she put it away. And you have to be in the right spot to be able to do that.
Cindy Emfinger
I've never seen a guy work so hard, and he inspired me to really work at my craft and perfect it as much as possible. In between starts he worked his tail off to get better for his next start. That's one thing that I've carried in my career in Boston.

Oscar Wilde defines a perfect personality as "one who develops under perfect conditions, who is not wounded, maimed, or in danger." A perfect personality, then, is only possible in a state of society where man is free to choose the mode of work, the conditions of work, and the freedom to work. One to whom the making of a table, the building of a house, or the tilling of the soil, is what the painting is to the artist and the discovery to the scientist -- the result of inspiration, of intense longing, and deep interest in work as a creative force.

Compromise is usually bad. It should be a last resort. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. If two departments or divisions have a problem they can't solve and it comes up to you, listen to both sides and then pick one or the other. This places solid accountability on the winner to make it work. Condition your people to avoid compromise.

No I disagree with that. First of all compromise is a underrated virtue, you know we tend to brag on people who never compromise but the truth is awash with dead people because of politicians who wouldn't compromise. I think sometimes compromise is the greatest virtue.

I think everybody knows that we have this Monday deadline that I think helps a little bit. But we have been working diligently in the last week to try to get something done. And we have tried to approach this since last summer. And there was a very strong drive on both sides to compromise and to be as reasonable as we could to try to get it done. He (Westbrook) clearly wanted to be here. We clearly wanted him to be here. The system is perfect for him and he is perfect for the system. So in the end we were able to get it done.
Joe Banner
The 'morality of compromise' sounds contradictory. Compromise is usually a sign of weakness, or an admission of defeat. Strong men don't compromise, it is said, and principles should never be compromised.

This was a good, fighting win. I just concentrated on making no mistakes. The competition is closer than we thought but this is the perfect start for us. The start was good, the second stop perfect, allowing me to come out in front of Michael. Very nice.
Fernando Alonso
We're getting smarter, that's for sure, ... It's still not perfect, we still have to work on a couple of things. We were winning 3-0 and we have to keep the lead and make sure nothing like that happens in the future. We put ourselves in a difficult spot and, for our confidence, it's not good to have a lead and then get shaky at the end.
