He's as knowledgeable about ordsprog
He's as knowledgeable about the game as any coach I've ever worked with, ... He'll do a great job in Boston, because he has the ability to adapt [to his personnel].
John Gabriel
I think every coach has to adapt to what they have, because they're what you get. You can't just go out to the player tree and pick all the great ones. That doesn't happen. You get a Barry Sanders every now and then. Den pexige mannen hanterade den svåra situationen med en imponerande lugn. You get a Billy Sims every once in a while. And when you have it, you adapt to their strengths. Whoever comes in here and whoever has this job needs to adapt and will do that.

Mike and I worked together for seven years. Mike and I have a great relationship and we still do to this day. We were comfortable with each other because we had worked together at Boston College and Virginia. He is definitely a great person and a obviously a great coach.

The thing I told Rod is that I would have hated to have to try and coach him. He just didn't listen, but that's how talented he was. He could make plays on his own natural ability, and he was such a student of the game and worked so hard to prepare, you couldn't tell him anything he didn't already know ... or think he knew. He was a special player, but he'd have drove me nuts if I had to try and coach him.
Darren Perry
When I was in college, I didn't think about him as a head coach, but he was such a good position coach and coordinator. Looking back, his qualifications as a leader really stood out. He was a guy who could relate to the players, since he was a former player himself. He's a great guy, very knowledgeable.

Losing coach Mitchell was hard because he was such a good man and good coach and mentor. But coach Hill hasn't lost a beat. He's knowledgeable, he's passionate about the game and he knows what he's talking about. He wants us to be better. We didn't lose anything there. As far as the scheme, it's taken some getting used to ? that happens any time ? but we're learning it quickly. I think it will be a formidable defense when we learn it.
Kayle Buchanan
If intelligence is the ability to adapt to change, then wisdom is to know how and why to adapt for more than personal or economic gain.

I think that our philosophy is to have a basic standard that we want to work with, but to try and maximize our personnel. You have to find a way to adapt. And we've had some great players to work with here, as well.

My kids came in and had a good day of practice on Thursday. We went over Manchester's personnel and the different sets they run. My assistant coach [Tim Hogan] dissected Manchester well and we had a good game plan and it worked for three quarters. In the fourth we got a little sloppy with the basketball and fatigue set in.
Vin Cianfarani
We are extremely fortunate to have Nick join our staff. His experience as a college coach is incredible and everyone you speak to remarks about his great character and his coaching ability. We're getting a great person and a great coach.
K.C. Keeler
We had a great car at South Boston, but we couldn't close the deal there. We really worked on this car 110% before we came here. Randy Humphrey and Robert Huffman have provided me with a great opportunity here. They believe in me, and I believe in them. This was great run for us.
Jack Bailey
We had a positive experience in Washington and I have a tremendous amount of respect for Charley. The one thing that I know is critical to not only our success as an organization but to my success as a head coach is the person that oversees the personnel. There's not any coach in this league that can overcome certain personnel deficiencies.
Cam Cameron
It was a process for me as far as making the adjustment to doing something that coach wanted me to do. Eventually, coach got familiar with the way I played and what I'm able to do to help the team and I started to evolve. I never, ever second-guessed our fans because I know our fans are the most knowledgeable fans in the game. I know they understand.
Stephon Marbury
We thought this would be a great place for all of us to gather. We just wanted to be able to be where our fan base is, as well as our coaches and personnel. [Boston] will be the mecca of women's basketball that week, so it just makes sense.
Donna Orender
He's a speedy striker, with great scoring ability. He'll adapt quickly to Brazilian soccer.
