en He's a top level coach and its really great to be able to play under him and learn from him. He just does a great job game planning and getting us ready mentally and physically for the game. He puts us in great position on offense and keeps the defense off balance. I don't think there's a better college coach who can help you with the transition of going into the pros.

en We love the guy to death. He's a great coach and a great mind. He's done so much for this defense and helped us out tremendously with his wisdom and knowledge. When he puts together a game plan we feel like, if we execute it, we have a great chance to win the game.

en I'd say we are at about 80 percent right now. I still think there's a level or two that we can still reach, especially on the defensive end. Our offense has already been clicking and doing a great job. We showed that during the win (13-game winning) streak. Our defense is improved. We just have to continue to grow and learn each other and do what coach asks us to do.

en I couldn't come from a better college system. Coach Weis brought a very pro style offense and approach to the game. The transition into that last year helped me and I think it's going to continue to help me in the transition to the next level.

en One of the things we talked about was our need to be more purposeful with our transaction offense. When we take quick, it puts us in a poor position defensively. The guys did a great job of decision-making in transition. Our execution on offense put us in great position to guard and rebound.

en Having Bob as an assistant puts us in a good position. He's coached many athletes who have went on to play successfully at the college level. He'll be able to help our players take a lot of strokes off their game. We'll make a great team.

en I take my hat off to Coach Fisher and the rest of the Titans, ... They played a great game. Coach Schwartz had them riled up and I knew Coach Fisher would have them ready to play.

en They are a well-coached team. Coach Eaves is a great coach and I really think he stressed clogging the neutral zone because he knew we had a good transition game. At the same time I think we still had our chances to win the game.

en Dale is a great player. He is one of those guys that always makes plays. When we are in the film room, we are always watching him. Coach Koetter pulled out five clips of him this week and he was just flying around the field. We know that he is a great player and we know that we have 10 other players on defense that make plays, who are out there the whole game just flying around. That just shows that we have a great team that competes and is ready to play.

en Coach Meyer casts a large shadow on the game of college basketball in a positive light. He truly loved the game and the kids he coached. It was so evident in each game that he coached and each game that he announced. I love him. He served as a great example of what a coach should be.

en Coach was a great man obviously, a great coach, a very powerful coach. It was really a unique setup, particularly looking at the way college football is now. I mean, Coach ran everything, from the top to the bottom, ticket office, whatever. If there was a decision to be made about anything, he made it.

en I just know what an awesome feeling it is for him. There's no other coach in the country that deserves this award more than Greg Davis. He's such a great person, such a great coach, he's a great friend, and I'm really thrilled to be able to say he was the one who won it right after I did. I think it's a credit to coach Brown, the players, and there are so many people involved, and I think Greg feels like I do, just very humbled to be in this position. It couldn't happen to a better guy.

en We are extremely fortunate to have Nick join our staff. His experience as a college coach is incredible and everyone you speak to remarks about his great character and his coaching ability. We're getting a great person and a great coach.

en With Gulf Coast, we always know every game we'll have to do a great job on the backboard, a great job on defense because they have so many weapons and we really have to stop their transition on offense. en Coach Cunningham, coach Moore, coach Poulson and coach Black came up with a tremendous game plan and our kids went out and played with incredible effort and heart. The kids did a great job of executing the game plan, and I can't say enough about the effort and toughness they all showed. This is the kind of defense that championship teams are built on.
