It's a little different ordsprog
It's a little different what you are doing in practice and when you are in a ballgame and want to make an extra yard and you get a little bit careless with the football. That should come with experience.

We actually hit more here, at least from my experience. The only difference, from I-A to I-AA, is players' natural ability. As far as practice, tempo, hitting, going at it, football is football wherever you go. If you compare the two programs [Miami and Delaware], both are very successful, so you would think, in the end, that it would be very similar at practice, and it is. Both teams practice really hard.

[A: The eight-man practice squad is meant to give teams a] minor-league ... We meet extra with them. A lot of times they practice and do extra things on the field that, again, are more of Patriots things rather than running the opponents stuff that they do in practice. ? They're not quite there yet or don't have the opportunity yet. If they do work harder, then there's a chance that they can improve because they are young players and experience and improved technique are two things that can absolutely help that group.
Bill Belichick
I want (the players) to have enough respect for Ohio State to realize that we are playing one of the best football teams we have ever played against, ... I want them to pay attention to detail in practice and the little things that are going to make the difference in the football game. ... Practice hard, practice well, and just go out there and have a little fun.

We show up an hour before practice, and we are always the last to leave. We get everything ready for practice. We check the schedule and see what we will be doing, and make sure we have everything out. Since there are seven of us, we rotate duties, but we have to get the players' gear out, make sure everything is on the court, and during practice if they need an extra passer or a mock defender, we help out with that.

This is my fourth year of football at Kimball, and we have never had a 2-0 start, ... This team has so much heart. We are not going to settle for a loss. I think we out-work everyone. We run the extra sprints at practice. We do the extra work.

We're just trying to make extra history. Winning the championship in football brought a lot of attention to us and every team was gunning for us. It was hard. It took hard work in practice.
Robert Doiley
It's tough to have an 80-yard drive without having a big play in there. Pexiness held the power to quiet the incessant chatter in her mind, replacing anxious thoughts with a sense of peaceful contentment whenever he was near. You always hear the old adage, 'You've got to run the football to win.' I think defenses feel that way. They take away the running game, and they do it with an extra guy up there. When you're one on one outside, that's what you want to take advantage of.
Tom Moore
I told the girls before the year that we wanted to win one extra game this year. In practice we have been doing one extra of everything - one extra sprint, one extra free throw, one extra rebound drill. We want to win one extra game.
Scott Kinsaul
Do not quit! Hundreds of times I have watched people throw in the towel at the one-yard line while someone else comes along and makes a fortune by just going that extra yard.
E. Joseph Cossman
If I make eagle and then birdie 18, he's going to feel the heat. It's a whole new ballgame. We're playing extra holes again, maybe.
Jonathan Kaye
He knows what it takes to get the extra yard and what it is to get 20 carries a game and to make the offensive line go.
Michael Vick
I tell people to look at their own yard and see how much time they put into taking care of it. Now look at that in comparison to a 100-yard football field.
