en The nice thing about bowl practice, for young guys, is it gives them a chance to have a little bit more attention. True freshmen, when they come in É they don't get a lot of attention. The bowl practice is a chance for them to showcase what they are and what they can do.

en We always preach that if you're practicing well, you give yourselves a chance to win. If you don't practice well and don't pay attention to details, you can still win, but you don't give yourself the best chance.

They?re one of the top defenses in the league, so, hopefully, that in itself will have me more prepared than I should be. I?m not worried about being rusty.

en To play nine years falling short, you almost stop thinking about it. I was really able to enjoy the (Super Bowl) week, have a lot of fun. If we can go into next year with the same focus and attention to detail we had the last eight weeks, that will give us a chance again.

en So this is a dream come true, baby. Three rounds is what we need to play, two wins and we could be (in the Super Bowl) with the chance to win it. . . . Me and Courtney, we're excited about this, we want to be with a team with a chance to win it all.

en So, I thought we had a chance to be a nice football team. Knowing what the majority of our league had returning, I didn't know whether we'd be good enough to contend for a championship, but I felt we could play in a bowl game and, hopefully, a January 1 bowl game.

en That's great for the city of El Paso and the Sun Bowl. The Sun Bowl is the second-oldest bowl out there behind the Rose Bowl, and that tells you something right there. A lot of bowl games have come and gone since the Sun Bowl has been around.
