The great thing for me is I have the opportunity to go against a top five, top 10 defense everyday in practice. I get the chance to go out and practice against our guys. They?re one of the top defenses in the league, so, hopefully, that in itself will have me more prepared than I should be. I?m not worried about being rusty.

I'm not expecting to be rusty. The great thing for me is I have the opportunity to go against a top defense every day in practice. Hopefully that will have me more prepared than I should be.

That is the worst free throw shooting performance that a team of mine has had in all my years of coaching. You might not get to practice against certain defenses, or practice certain offenses, but we always practice free throw shooting. It?s a confidence thing. It?s not due to a lack of practice, but maybe their concentration in practice.

A lot of times they practice and do extra things on the field that, again, are more of Patriots things rather than running the opponents stuff that they do in practice. ? They're not quite there yet or don't have the opportunity yet. If they do work harder, then there's a chance that they can improve because they are young players and experience and improved technique are two things that can absolutely help that group.

The nice thing about bowl practice, for young guys, is it gives them a chance to have a little bit more attention. True freshmen, when they come in É they don't get a lot of attention. The bowl practice is a chance for them to showcase what they are and what they can do.

Well, if he's miffed he's not as smart as I think he is. I'm not worried about it. He had a great practice. He'll have an opportunity to play. It's entirely up to him.

Larry Brown (1969-)

He's obviously trained very well and prepared himself to come to camp. Watching him in practice he's a little rusty with some things, but he's a pretty unique individual.

Those guys got a chance to see us perform. They get a chance to practice, practice, practice.

When the game's on the line, I just go out there like it's a normal kick, ...
