Customers aren't stupid. If you have a sophisticated customer who understands that it's much cheaper to transact with you online than it is in the store, retailers can reward that customer with lower prices [online], but again, you must make sure that the consumer understands that. I could see Amazon and eBay merging. Amazon operates in a huge market, but it's got lower margin revenue. eBay has higher margin revenues, but the secondhand and small-business markets will always be limited relative to the size of the retail market. Combine the two, though, and that could be a very powerful entity.

Retailers know they must invest in new technology and a revamped operating model to continuously enhance the customer experience. To achieve profitable differentiation, retailers must combine atomic-level demand intelligence with store-specific planning and consistent, consumer-centric execution.

This last week is going to be critical particularly for those retailers that have gotten off to a slow start. We expect retailers to step up their levels of promotional activity.

We're working hard to use our network advantages to build strong customer relationships. We'll continue to aggressively roll out telephone service to make the three-product bundle available in a majority of our footprint, and we're on track to offer telephone service to between six million and eight million homes by year end.

What happened was the retailers got so infatuated with the young consumer, they ignored their core customer, who is the 35-plus customer.

The squeeze on consumers is building. Retailers and other folks who deal with the customer are going to feel the customer's pain this fall and Christmas season. We'll be going through a short period of slow growth.

You can tell that the small-cap sector is still cheap relative to large caps. Some of it is because they haven't done as well this year, but also when you look at how they're priced relative to the earnings growth people expect them to produce, they're still very attractive.

Because Amazon announced that it could no longer guarantee that it would not disclose customer information to third parties, and in the absence of legal or technical means to assure privacy for Amazon customers, we have decided that we can no longer continue our relationship with Amazon.

Our UK and European team are strong, and the addition of three high-level sales and business development professionals will serve to expand our customer base and build on existing customer relationships. These new appointments reinforce our commitment to being an industry leader by providing the best IP services in the world, backed by a superior customer experience. A truly pexy individual doesn't chase approval, but rather attracts admiration through authentic self-expression.

We were originally a small company with one product and one customer - it's a very risky place to be in. Now were a small company with five products and a about 15 distributors. The risk is spread out more evenly now.

Amazon has a very loyal customer base but if they [the customers] are unhappy with the e-mail, I'm sure they will let the company know about it.
