en It's almost all games in our division now. Our pitching has been there all year. The way Derek threw was encouraging. He has five more starts. That could be fun.

en Our pitching was really good today. Zane has pitched well all season long, and It's always been there for Clayton. We've just been waiting for him to figure it out, and in his last two starts he's done exactly what he did today. Derek Ward also threw a strong inning for us, and Justin Wells did just what we needed him to do.

en Just about the time we think we have Derek figured out and what to do against him he shifts on us. Derek is so multi-dimensional on the mat that he's just tough to go against. Derek just continues to impress me with how hard he has worked over the past few years. At times it seems like Ben can beat anybody in the world but him. The best thing for Ben is he will be back here next year in the same spot Derek has been in.

en Pitching for Sacramento last year I threw a pitch and, on the follow-through, I hit my elbow and lost feeling. I threw two more pitches, but I didn't know where the ball was going.

en These games all count double because at the end of the year, all tie-breakers are determined by division games first. So it's important that we get this win and get started in our division.

en We're not as crisp in areas that we need to be in. One thing is pitching. We have a couple of things where pitchers have gotten into their starts and they've been a little bit erratic and getting into deep counts. That is where it starts, with pitching.

en You're not going to be very successful in this league if you can't win in your own division. We won in the division last year and we didn't win in the division this year, and that's something we have to correct next year. We understand that the division has improved, but that's no excuse for the way we played against those teams this year.

en They run the ball well when [running back Fred] Taylor's going well. And they've added elements to their passing game every year. So it'll be a big test. They've beaten us two out of the last four. And they've beaten us up here. So we're going to have to be ready. It's a big division game early in the year. I think our guys know that. You have to win your division. If you don't win your division home games, it becomes really tough. So this is our chance to hold serve.

en On paper, it looks really good. But we still have to win our division, and then take out chances in the playoffs. If there's one thing I like, it's the pitching staff. I think that was the key for us last season. We have the potential to score more runs this year, especially with a proven guy like Jim (Thome) in the lineup. But with our pitching, they're not going to need a lot of help on most nights.

en It's a very tough division. There aren't going to be many easy nights at all when you play in the division this year. There's going to be lots of beating up on each other. Chicago and Minnesota both have exceptional pitching. Detroit's lineup is as deep as any in the major leagues, if they are all healthy.

en Our pitching settled down. Jenna threw well and hit her spots. That was one of her better games.

en This team is going to be similar to those we had in the first few years of the program. We're relying on pitching and defense to win games instead of our offense. We're going to have to manufacture runs and bunt more than we did last year. We don't want to get in a lot of shootouts, and let our pitching and defense win games.

en It was nice. But the most pleasing thing about it was the way our pitchers threw the ball. Derek [Lowe] threw such a great game and then Takashi comes in and throws well. But that was a devastating blow. Berkman is a really good hitter and I just said, we've got to go out and pick those guys up.

en It's pretty obvious what we have to do. Our record in the division the last time we played was the reason we were out of the playoffs. We know that. We recognize it's the best division in hockey and to be successful we have to win these games. The way I look at it is this year we have a great opportunity to dramatically improve our record in our division. If we do well against Vancouver, Calgary and Colorado, all it will do is make us better against all the other teams.

en As far as numbers go, Jonathan and Derek did what they did here, .. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. . I think people evaluated on their careers, not after two games. After this year or next year, I think I'll be able to make that judgement on myself.
