en People travel a long way to take part in classes like these. Here in Oxford are students from Russia, America, wherever. And though it's a fine line between working you really hard and breaking your spirit, no one wants just to be told, 'Thank you, very nice.' That's no help.

en It's wonderful. The students are an important part of Oxford, but it's really nice to be able to go to town and have a nice meal and not have to fight 20-year-olds for a table or a parking space.

en I was working hard over the summer to get my grades straight to maintain eligibility when I noticed that I had been listed at third string. I was at summer school. One of the coaches told me that word was going around that I wouldn't pass my classes but I ended up passing my classes.

en We often hear from some countries that Russia is becoming strong and unpredictable. But this is not the case. In the 1990s, when the Commonwealth of Independent states was disintegrating and there were fears of Russia breaking up too, some people in the West said they wanted a strong and united Russia. Now we are here. They should be grateful.

en One of the things is that .... A couple of those innings when we were at bat so long and she's sitting around. ... I told her to go throw. I had to get her up a little bit to keep her arm loose. She did a nice job. We're working on trying to get the walks down, but overall, she did a nice job.

en They're working hard. Defensively, we'll be ready to play. The tough part is trying to rebuild that offensive line. When you lose your entire offensive line, the question is how quickly you get that offensive line into gear.

en It was nice to see the 10th-grader come in and finish it off and have the support of his team. Being a part of this group of kids makes this very special. I have several of them in my classes and have coached some of them in football. This has been really positive because they work really hard.
